Here you can sense your optic nerve with colours of nature. This Botanical garden was laid out in the year 1848 by Graham Mclvor. It sprawled across 55 hectares and lies in the lower Doddabetta peak. Mr. Mclvor converted the garden upside down.
The garden is house to many exotic and variety of species like Bonsai, shrubs, herbs, ferns and trees. The stunning attraction of the garden is the fossil tree trunk that is more than 20 million years old.
The Toda Mundi is the location in the garden that gives you a hint of original Toda tribes of ooty.
Beautiful Rose garden here consists of 300 varieties of hybrid roses and polyanthus roses.
