Pykara falls

Pykara falls is one of those must-see sights in Ooty. Pykara falls is formed by the Pykara river downstream of the Pykara dam. The waterfall amidst the dense forest is a treat to watch. It is located 25kms away from scenic Ooty.

Pykara falls are highly photogenic. We just see it as a picturesque canvas painted divinely by god.

There are barricades along with the cascading waterfall viewpoint for the safety of tourists. It is base on so many South Indian hit songs. The falls can be reached by a walk on a well-laid path from the parking location.
